Transformation through Yoga Therapy
Our students experience profound healing through Yoga Therapy.
After two years of struggling to conceive and a diagnosis of stage 4 endometriosis, Kate was preparing to begin IVF when she came to yoga therapy. Through a personalised practice focused on creating a fertile, nurturing inner environment, something shifted. Just eight weeks later, she conceived naturally and today, she is the proud mother of a beautiful baby boy.

What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga Therapy is a fast growing field of complementary therapy in Australia. Studying Yoga Therapy takes you beyond teaching general classes and into the space of empowering students who have injury or illness. The practice is developed within a professional therapeutic context and draws on the tools of yoga in a one-to-one setting.

A Yoga Therapy session may include:
Discussion on student history associated with the student’s health issues
A physical assessment
The design of a personalised practice to suit the specific needs of the individual
Other lifestyle and dietary guidelines
You're empowered to respond to a wide range of illnesses
In each subject you will learn about the health issue, how the medical system responds, and the Yoga Therapy tools to help the student.
