Sarah is a Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist, Reiki Practitioner, and InnerDance Facilitator based on the Central Coast. She is also the Newcastle coordinator for Yogic Wisdom’s Yoga Teacher Training, and teaches the Mental Health Module for Yoga Therapy Training. She has been practicing yoga over several years and studied with Yogic Wisdom in the Krishnamacharya lineage. Sarah realised that Yoga is more than just the postures but a lifelong journey that brings with it many possibilities. She teaches Yoga weekly at Majestic Yoga in Kariong, and facilitates InnerDance events and other retreats and workshops locally.

For Alissa, finding the Krishnamacharya style of yoga felt like arriving home. Having always enjoyed the practice of asana, this style has opened her heart and mind to the deeper aspects of yoga. Alissa has found her home practice to be incredibly supportive as she moves through life while parenting and working. She is ever inspired by nature and ancient wisdom from cultures worldwide. Alissa has completed both her Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Therapy Training through Yogic Wisdom, and is currently undertaking studies in meditation. Alissa teaches at Majestic Yoga and is the Sydney coordinator for Yogic Wisdom’s Yoga Teacher Training.

Alissa Hattersley

Kate’s passion for yoga extends from her own personal journey over the past 17-years, discovering yoga as a kind and constant anchor through many of life’s stages, pregnancy and motherhood included. She completed her 350hr Diploma of Yoga Teaching with Yogic Wisdom in 2023 and continues-on with her post Graduate Diploma of Yoga Therapy in 2024-25. Kate offers Yoga, Reiki, Inner Dance and Sound healing at a variety of different studios in Central Coast.

Nikki is a wellbeing practitioner, community leader, and founder of Majestic Yoga, offering yoga classes, wellbeing retreats, breathwork, sound healing sessions, meditation circles, and more. With over 15 years’ experience in community leadership, she is a qualified yoga teacher (Yogic Wisdom), Reiki Master Practitioner, sound healing practitioner, and Quantum Advanced Program graduate, also holding diplomas in mental health, business, and leadership. As a mother, stepmother, and grandmother, Nikki makes conscious decisions guided by love and higher vibration, bringing warmth and lived wisdom to her work, passionately supporting others in deepening their inner awareness and connection to self through holistic, heart-centred practices.

Nikki Irwin

Jacke has been a Remedial Massage/Reflexologist for the past 35 years. In 2017 she completed her training at Yogic Wisdom, which changed everything! As the universe provides and guides, she was given the opportunity to begin teaching, and morphed her skills into Chair Yoga.
Jacke now has her own studio, based at Charmhaven, and practices Hatha and Yin yoga (with trauma release), Sound Healing/Massage and Salt Therapy. She is passionate to help others and is a support network for Yogic Wisdom.

Maranda is the Central Coast coordinator for Yogic Wisdom’s Yoga Teacher Training. Maranda is a yoga teacher and fitness instructor with a background in early education. Maranda first came to Yogic Wisdom with the desire to improve physically, but instead found the holistic connection she had been searching for. Maranda loves sharing knowledge and growing alongside her students, and is dedicated to helping others discover the abundant offerings of yoga. Annie teaches Yoga weekly in Morisset.

Maranda Matthews

During her 18-year journey with yoga and other healing modalities, Kym was drawn to Krishnamacharya’s holistic approach, moving beyond just the physical body to heal and help the whole person. With this in mind, Kym founded Yogic Wisdom and the Karma Yoga Foundation where she and the faculty combined the art and science of Yoga Therapy and Yoga to share the wise ancient teachings of yoga. Kym now supports individuals one on one on their journey to deepen their spiritual practices.

Kym McDonald

Jo is one of the Asana and Pranayama Teachers for Yogic Wisdom’s Yoga Teacher Training, and teaches classes in Newcastle. Discovering Yoga was like the missing piece of the puzzle for Jo in terms of understanding the purpose of life, connection, and wellbeing. Being a part of others making that same discovery brings Jo so much joy. Her study of Yoga Therapy, combined with her 30 years as a practicing pharmacist, gives her an extensive knowledge of the human body, disease states and the tools that can be used to help students along a path of healing. Jo has qualifications as a Yoga Teacher, a Yoga Therapist and has a Bachelor of Pharmacy. Jo teaches Yoga regularly in Newcastle.

A yoga therapist, naturopath, and nutritionist, Simone blends ancient wisdom with modern science to support lasting wellbeing. She’s passionate about helping people restore balance through holistic, sustainable practices. Simone teaches and offers therapy down in Redhead.

Simone Hollier

Sue is a Yoga Teacher and Therapist, having completed her Yoga Teacher Training in 2021 and Yoga Therapy Training in 2023. She studied the Krishnamacharya lineage at Yogic Wisdom. Her teaching approach is gentle, accessible, and grounded in the therapeutic principles of yoga. Sue currently teaches Chair and Standing Yoga for Seniors at the Edgeworth Memorial Neighbourhood Centre.

Sue Simpson

Yoga has been an integral part of Susan&#8217;s life for 30 years, and since completing her yoga teacher training with Yogic Wisdom in 2022, she started Take Time Yoga. She now teaches a weekly class every Tuesday at Kotara Bowling Club. The group is welcoming and perfect for all levels. Susan Fuller

Aman graduated from Yoga Teacher Training in 2024 with Yogic Wisdom and now shares yoga with seniors at the Sugarvalley Community Centre in West Wallsend. With a professional background in finance, Aman was drawn to yoga through his passion for health and fitness. His teacher training journey sparked a profound shift, from a focus on the physical to a deeper spiritual connection. Now committed to teaching yoga and meditation full time, Aman offers free weekly classes in his local community.

Aman Sidhu

Tash discovered yoga in her late teens and was instantly hooked. Yoga has remained a key part of Tash’s life since then and eventually inspired her to enrol in the Yogic Wisdom Teaching Diploma in 2018. Through the year-long course she discovered she loved teaching students of all ages from pre-schoolers to older adults. Since then, she has completed a Certificate in Children’s Yoga, sharing the joy of yoga with infant and primary school children whose energy is infectious. More recently, Tash has enjoyed teaching yoga to seniors and offering modifications with chairs and supports to promote healthy ageing.

Natasha Whyte

Geraldine has been a student and practitioner of Yoga since 1997 and has been teaching since 2000. Initially training with the Sydney Yoga Centre. Drawn by the holistic and individualised approach of this lineage, Geraldine has since studied with senior teachers including Dr Natesan Chandrasekaran and Saraswati Vasudevan. She has taught extensively in public, private, corporate, retreat and health settings. She is registered with Yoga Australia as a Senior Level Yoga Teacher and as a Yoga Therapist. She has been a practising Yoga Therapist since 2014 and completed her Graduate Certificate in Yoga Therapy with Kym McDonald of Yogic Wisdom in 2019.

Geraldine Coren

Kaye is the Kids Yoga teacher for Yogic Wisdom’s Yoga Teacher Training. Kaye resides in the Upper Hunter, where she is a Learning Support Officer at the local primary school. Kaye shares her love of Yoga with the school students and her local community. Kaye is a qualified Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist and brings her learning’s on Kids’ Yoga to the training. For Kaye, Yoga has been life changing. Kaye teaches Yoga weekly in Aberdeen for adults as well.

Kaye Wright

Anne Mooney is a certified yoga teacher based in Dungog, trained through Yogic Wisdom’s 350-hour diploma program. With a background in nursing and a focus on accessible, breath-centered Hatha yoga, Anne teaches with a practical, health-oriented approach. She offers regular classes, workshops, and one-on-one sessions that support strength, mobility, and mental clarity-inviting students to reconnect with their bodies and feel more at ease within themselves.

Anne Mooney

Sheridan has always been physically fit and active, but there was an element missing! That was to learn to slow down the mind, breath properly and be present. Yoga has helped her balance out her nervous system and guide her on a more holistic approach to health. Mind, body and spirit. Sheridan&#8217;s classes offer the physical aspect of keeping a fit strong body through asana, but also includes the mental and emotional aspects through breath and mindfulness. Working on both nervous systems to balance out the body’s needs.

Sheridan Attard

Annie has 35 years’ experience as a practicing physiotherapist, giving her a deep practical knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Her studies in the Krishnamacharya lineage of yoga and Yoga Therapy have deepened and extended her application of this knowledge. It has also proven that there is nothing yoga cannot touch and revive, be it physical, emotional, mental and/or spiritual. Annie has qualifications as a Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. She also has a history of almost 60 years in music and brings her ongoing love of chant and mantra to the training. Annie teaches Yoga weekly in Hawks Nest.

Janet has been practicing yoga for over 50 years and completed her Yoga Teacher Training in 2024. Her lifelong dedication to yoga has naturally evolved into a passion for sharing its benefits with others. Deeply interested in the transformative power of pranayama and meditation, Janet brings a gentle, grounded approach to her teaching. She currently shares yoga with her local community, teaching through the University of the Third Age, Hawks Nest.

Janet Corden

Over the past two decades Holly has worked in the busy corporate space, where her own mental health struggles began. Feeling burnt out, she experienced first hand the benefits of yoga which allowed her to manage anxiety by calming her nervous system and staying in the present. In Holly’s classes you can expect a blend of gentle movement, breath awareness, meditation and deep relaxation. She provides modifications to suit individual needs and utilise props to support you in class.

Holly Moltzen

Savita is the Sanksrit &amp; Chanting Teacher for Yogic Wisdom’s Yoga Teacher Training. She has practiced Sanskrit chanting and prayer daily for over 50 years, and loves sharing this sacred traditional practice with her students in Yoga. Savita’s first exposure to Yoga asana and pranayama was in her childhood in rural India, and has had a dedicated daily practice for the last 15 years. Savita graduated from Yogic Wisdom in 2019 and has been teaching women seniors in northern Sydney for the last 5 years. Her classes are available via zoom.
